Have healthy expectations for returning your yard to good standing

Updated: Feb 24

It's not uncommon for new customers to let their yard get into poor shape before they call for help, and a lot of times the first thing said is, "I want my yard to look like my neighbors". That is possible, but it isn't going to happen over night, or that season, or maybe not even after 2 seasons. Typically, that neighbor has taken great care of their yard for 5, 10, 15 seasons in a row. They have constantly addressed problems when they arose, and fertilized and watered properly, to build up soil and turf. There is no way to jam 10 years of consistent good care into 1 application of fertilizer and weed control. Reasonable expextations for rehabilitation will benefit everyone when trying to get your yard healthy again.
